Accounting Team Lead
Job Summary
Leading the accounting team in a full-time remote capacity, the Accounting Team Lead will oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end and year-end closing processes, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and support the accounting team in daily operations
- Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting transactions
- Coordinate and oversee month-end and year-end closing activities to meet reporting deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5-7+ years of accounting experience with previous supervisory or team-lead experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle
- Proficient in Excel and experience with Blackline account reconciliation software preferred
