Job Summary

Conducting detailed audits of billing activities, the fully remote Accounts Receivable Quality Assurance Auditor will review claim follow-ups, collections efforts, and ensure compliance with internal protocols and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit daily work completed by billing staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance in claim submissions and collection efforts
• Identify errors and trends impacting reimbursement and operational efficiency, providing feedback and recommendations to improve performance
• Collaborate with team leads to develop and refine policies and procedures based on audit findings and participate in quality assurance initiatives

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 3-4 years of revenue cycle experience
• Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, including claim lifecycle and payer rules
• Proficient in billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Familiarity with auditing techniques within a healthcare revenue cycle setting
