Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance financial operations, the fully remote Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist will manage past-due accounts, improve collections, and coordinate mechanic's liens and legal notices while collaborating with various internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review AR aging reports, contact customers for payment commitments, and resolve billing discrepancies
• Monitor project completion dates for mechanic's liens and manage state-specific filing deadlines
• Prepare collection reports, track collection activity, and maintain accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, commercial collections, or credit and collections
• Preferred background in construction, electrical contracting, or commercial services
• Knowledge of mechanic's liens and construction payment processes is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities effectively
