Accounts Receivable Lead

Job Summary

Leading the Accounts Receivable Team in a full-time remote capacity, the Accounts Receivable Lead will manage outstanding payment and claims issues, generate weekly aging reports, and ensure compliance and accuracy in revenue cycle functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounts receivable activities for the assigned region, including insurance follow-ups and resolution of complex accounts
• Provide training and ongoing support to team members while participating in team meetings and coaching
• Communicate issues to management and generate age analysis to ensure compliance with payer policies

Required qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 3-5 years of revenue cycle/accounts receivable experience required
• Medical Billing Certification is a plus
• Experience with Mod Med/EMA practice management system is a plus
• Understanding of revenue cycle principles, accounts receivables, denial management, and coding (CPT/HCPCS/ICD10)
