Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing the accounts receivable operations, the full-time Manager, Accounts Receivable will manage billing, collections, and reimbursement processes while leading a team to optimize revenue cycle performance and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities of accounts receivable staff, ensuring effective billing and collections
• Conduct thorough reviews of patient accounts for accuracy and implement strategies to improve collection rates
• Generate performance reports and mentor team members to meet key metrics and reduce denials

Required qualifications:

• Minimum five years of general hospital billing and collections experience, with at least two years in a managerial role
• Proficient understanding of medical terminology and hospital business office operations
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex billing issues
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical billing or healthcare administration is a plus
• Experience with billing software and electronic health records systems
