Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate reporting of receivables and simulcast settlements, the full-time Accounts Receivable & Settlement Manager will manage cash activity, maintain accounts receivable subledger in SAP, and lead process improvements while working remotely from specific states.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the performance and results of the accounts receivable function, including simulcast settlements
• Maintain accounts receivable subledger for multiple companies and apply cash receipts in SAP
• Prepare monthly revenue and A/R journal entries, and conduct monthly bad debt reviews

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or at least ten years of receivables and/or racing experience
• Prior experience in the equine industry or strong understanding of horse racing terminology
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage projects to successful completion
• Comfortable working with financial systems and handling financial-related information
• Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
