Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented full-time Accounts Receivable Representative to manage insurance accounts receivable activities, ensure timely reimbursement of claims, and resolve denials, with an on-site presence in St. Louis, MO and a potential hybrid schedule after 90 days of employment.

Key responsibilities

• Submit and manage claims to primary, secondary, and tertiary payers, ensuring timely processing
• Review, correct, and resubmit rejected or denied claims while conducting follow-ups with insurance carriers
• Analyze outstanding accounts to identify reimbursement issues and collaborate with other departments to resolve claim problems

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of healthcare accounts receivable experience; three years preferred
• Experience with insurance claim denials, rejections, and appeals
• Familiarity with healthcare billing practices and revenue cycle processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
