Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the full scope of the accounts receivable process, the remote Accounts Receivable Specialist will oversee customer inquiries, invoice delivery, and timely payment monitoring while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate billing and collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the shared billing inbox and respond to customer inquiries within established SLAs
• Submit invoices to customer portals and proactively follow up on outstanding payments
• Apply payments, reconcile accounts, and assist in monitoring customer cancellations

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or a related finance role
• Experience with NetSuite, Tesorio, Maxio, Salesforce (SFDC), and Avalara preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, including complex formulas and PivotTables
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and billing best practices
• Familiarity with subscription-based service contracts and vendor payment platforms
