Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Managing and collecting outstanding customer receivables, the full-time remote Accounts Receivable Specialist will ensure healthy cash flow by addressing overdue accounts, resolving billing issues, and collaborating with sales and billing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and collect overdue accounts to reduce aged receivables
• Contact customers to collect payments, resolve disputes, and follow up on payment arrangements
• Generate aging reports and perform monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable with the General Ledger

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable in a corporate environment
• Working knowledge of collection practices and credit terms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Experience with collections software or ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
