Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Revenue Cycle Management Division, the full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist will validate Advanced Beneficiary Notices (ABNs) for Medicare claims, ensuring compliance and accurate billing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and validate ABNs based on established departmental guidelines and multiple required elements
• Document decisions with detailed audit trail notes and make necessary system updates for specimen billing
• Process a high volume of validations while adhering to productivity, quality, and turnaround time standards

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 1 year of accounts receivable experience
• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Ability to interpret guidelines and apply appropriate judgment when reviewing documentation
• Experience with CICS Billing System or m-Power is preferred
