Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Summary
Managing complex accounts, the full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist will oversee credit, collections, billing, and cash receipts while serving as a subject matter expert for specialized accounts, working remotely from Colorado or Ohio.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor A/R aging and customer accounts to minimize past due accounts
- Initiate collection communications and collaborate with Advertising Managers on escalated actions
- Research and resolve complicated account issues while maintaining accurate billing processes
Required qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of invoicing, revenue recognition, and payment processes
- Accounting and analytical skills to reconcile complex transactions and resolve billing issues
- Advanced knowledge of multiple billing systems and specialized advertising programs
- GED or high school diploma; Associate's degree preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and 10 key calculations
