Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Job Summary

Supporting the management team remotely, the full-time Accounts Receivable Team Lead will coordinate activities within the Accounts Receivable department, assist team members, track productivity, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims.

Key responsibilities

• Assist global team members by providing support and initial training on the client host system
• Track productivity and quality of Accounts Receivable Representatives while identifying areas for improvement
• Follow up with payers to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims and analyze issues causing payment delays

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in insurance collections and knowledge of the denied claims and appeals process
• Experience with training new users and practice management systems, preferably EPIC PB, Allscripts, or Cerner
• Extensive knowledge of individual payor websites and medical terminology, including CPT and diagnosis codes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with basic Excel skills
