Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Job Summary

Supporting the management team in a remote capacity, the full-time Accounts Receivable Team Lead will oversee the coordination of activities in the Accounts Receivable department, provide training, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims.

Key responsibilities

• Assist global team members by providing support and answering questions to promote ongoing success
• Track productivity and quality of Accounts Receivable Representatives while identifying areas for improvement
• Follow up with payers to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims and initiate appeals as necessary

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in insurance collections within a medical practice or facility, including claims submission and follow-up
• Knowledge of the denied claims and appeals process, as well as underpayments and credit balance processes
• Experience with practice management systems such as EPIC PB, Allscripts, or Cerner preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly basic Excel skills
