Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Job Summary

Managing A/R workflow remotely, the full-time Accounts Receivable Team Lead will oversee the resolution of unpaid claims, ensure team productivity and accuracy, and facilitate communication between insurance operations and call center teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the account resolution process to prevent escalation of issues
• Ensure follow-up on unresolved claims and appeals to facilitate timely payments
• Monitor reports for trends and implement corrective actions as necessary

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of A/R follow-up (Insurance Collections) experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical billing experience is helpful
• 2+ years of office experience with a focus on problem-solving and research
• Experience with hospital claims and healthcare receivables preferred
