Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Job Summary

Supporting the management team remotely, the full-time Accounts Receivable Team Lead will oversee the coordination of Accounts Receivable operations, provide training, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims.

Key responsibilities

• Assist global team members by answering questions and providing support for their ongoing success
• Track productivity and quality of Accounts Receivable Representatives while identifying areas for improvement
• Follow up with payers to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims and initiate appeals when necessary

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in insurance collections, including submitting and following up on claims for medical practices or facilities
• Knowledge of the denied claims and appeals process
• Proficiency in practice management systems, with preference for EPIC PB, Allscripts, or Cerner
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
