Job Summary
Providing strategic leadership and operational oversight, the full-time salaried Assistant Vice Provost for Accreditation & Accreditation Liaison Officer will manage accreditation activities, ensure compliance with state authorization and licensure, and serve as the institution's liaison to accrediting agencies in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Direct all institutional and programmatic accreditation efforts, ensuring compliance across multiple states
- Oversee state authorization applications and maintain institutional licensure compliance, including audits and disclosures
- Serve as the official liaison to the institution's accreditor, managing relationships and coordinating accreditation submissions
Required qualifications
- Doctoral degree or professional terminal degree
- Five or more years of progressively responsible academic administrative experience in regulatory and compliance areas
- Direct experience with institutional and programmatic accreditation, particularly with WSCUC and other accrediting bodies
- Knowledge of state authorization requirements and licensure regulations
- Excellent writing, research, organizational, and analytical skills
