Acoustics Designer

Job Summary

To support a growing Acoustics practice, the full-time Acoustics Designer will engage in acoustical analysis, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to projects from concept design through construction administration in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform acoustical analysis and prepare recommendations for sound isolation, room finishes, and mechanical systems noise control
• Produce acoustical documentation, including specifications and construction-phase materials
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate acoustical performance into building designs

Required qualifications

• Experience in acoustical analysis across various areas such as sound isolation and environmental noise
• Proficiency with acoustical modeling tools like ODEON, EASE, or similar
• Familiarity with relevant standards and guidelines such as ASHRAE and ANSI
• Degree in architectural acoustics, acoustics, physics, or a related engineering discipline
• INCE Board Certification preferred
