Job Summary
Supporting federal and contractor teams within a large program management office, the full-time Operational Requirements/Acquisition Documentation Specialist will review, edit, and develop documents to ensure compliance with DHS, CBP, and USBP standards while translating operational needs into actionable documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and refine various written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and readiness for leadership review
- Develop content that accurately captures operational requirements and acquisition considerations tailored to stakeholder needs
- Ensure all documents comply with applicable formatting, style, and document control requirements for official communications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Management, Engineering, or a related field; 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with the DHS Acquisition Lifecycle and related technical documentation
- Proven technical writing and editing experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365, particularly advanced skills in Word's Track Changes and document formatting
- Ability to pass a government background investigation; U.S. citizenship required
