Job Summary
Supporting federal and contractor teams remotely, the full-time Acquisition Documentation Specialist will manage the review, editing, and development of operational and acquisition-related documents to ensure clarity and compliance with government standards.
Key responsibilities
- Review, edit, and refine written materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and readiness for leadership review
- Develop and tailor content to accurately capture operational requirements and acquisition considerations
- Ensure compliance with DHS, CBP, and USBP formatting and document control requirements for official communications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Management, Engineering, or a related field; 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with the DHS Acquisition Lifecycle and technical documentation development
- Proven technical writing and editing experience
- Experience with fact-checking, citation management, and style guides
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly advanced skills in Word's Track Changes and document formatting
