ACT/SAT Academic Tutor
Job Summary
To support personalized academic growth, the part-time ACT/SAT Academic Tutor will deliver engaging instruction primarily in-person at the Winnetka office, focusing on high school and some middle school students while maintaining a flexible schedule averaging 8-12 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized academic and test-prep instruction to students, primarily in-person
- Build supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain an accurate calendar and respond promptly to communications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any subject, with preference for candidates with content expertise in math, sciences, or humanities
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and educational equity
- Passion for supporting student success across all subjects on the ACT
- Access to a computer with a webcam, mic, and reliable high-speed internet for virtual instruction
- Consistent availability of at least 10 hours per week
