Job Summary
Supporting ceded reinsurance operations for Employee Benefits, the full-time remote Actuarial Analyst will manage monthly claims valuation, reinsurance billing, reimbursement tracking, and financial reporting while collaborating with various teams to enhance processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute monthly ceded claims valuations and apply reinsurance treaty provisions to claims and reserves
- Prepare and review reinsurance billing, adjustments, and supporting documentation
- Track reimbursements, reconcile payments, and investigate outstanding or disputed items
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data, calculation systems, or reporting tools
- Comfortable working with automated processes and technical tools; experience with Databricks, SAS, SQL, Python, VBA, or Azure DevOps is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
