Job Summary
Performing trend analysis and forecasting, the full-time salaried Actuarial Analyst II will collect and analyze data for financial reporting, develop pricing models, and support pricing requests in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform or support trend analysis and forecasting
- Collect and analyze data for financial and utilization reporting, including IBNR
- Develop pricing models and support various pricing requests, including rate filings and new product pricing
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field
- 2+ years of actuarial and/or statistics experience or attainment of Associate level in the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- Working knowledge of Excel; familiarity with Access or other database applications preferred
- Experience with SAS or other programming languages preferred
- Knowledge of data analysis and Actuarial principles preferred
