Actuarial Analytics Director

Job Summary

To support the analytics and data foundation for reinsurance, the full-time Actuarial Analytics Director will design, build, and operate the end-to-end reinsurance data pipeline while developing pricing, reserving, and capital models, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee loss reserving analysis, capital charge models, and portfolio surveillance reports
• Design and maintain the reinsurance data pipeline and ensure model inputs are auditable and defensible
• Support new business development through quantitative analysis and market research

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, economics, statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within P&C insurance or reinsurance
• 2-5 years of experience managing a quantitative, actuarial, or data team
• Demonstrated experience in building or significantly rebuilding a data pipeline or analytical platform
• Strong understanding of actuarial principles, data management, and proficiency in SQL and Python
