Actuarial Associate
Job Summary
Supporting GAAP or Statutory/Tax Actuarial Valuation and Financial Reporting procedures, the remote Actuarial Associate will execute valuation processes for designated lines of business while collaborating with the actuarial team.
Key responsibilities
- Produce monthly reserves under GAAP or Statutory/Tax bases
- Develop information for the preparation, review, and analysis of reserve movements
- Maintain and enhance valuation controls and assist with new product and regulation valuations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or a related technical field
- Successful completion of five ASA examination requirements
- Minimum of one year of related actuarial experience
- Experience with indexed products preferred but not required
- Exposure to GGY-AXIS or similar actuarial modeling software preferred
