Actuarial Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the pricing function for value-based care partnerships, the full-time remote Actuarial Associate will manage underwriting analytics, partner data evaluation, and pricing model development while collaborating with various teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support underwriting and pricing analyses for new and existing partner deals, including development of MLR targets
• Write and maintain SQL queries to pull, join, and manipulate partner claims, eligibility, and revenue data
• Build and maintain Excel/Sheets-based underwriting models and analytical exhibits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Data Analytics/Science; progress toward SOA credentials is a plus
• 2+ years of experience with healthcare data and standard metrics, plus a basic understanding of Medicare and Medicaid
• Strong SQL skills, including working with non-standard data; Python is a plus
• Experience with Excel/Sheets; Power Pivot or VBA is a plus
