Actuarial Associate III

Job Summary

Supporting the Insurance Capital Standard (ICS) reporting function, the full-time Actuarial Associate III will manage capital requirement calculations, coordinate with business partners for data gathering, and produce accurate model results while working in a hybrid telecommuting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and report capital requirements under the ICS framework on a quarterly basis
• Manage and run models, ensuring timely updates and accurate results
• Document reporting procedures and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Required qualifications

• Understanding of capital requirements and calculations
• Experience with MG-ALFA and proficiency in SQL or Python
• Knowledge of insurance GAAP and Statutory accounting principles
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong quantitative background
• Some experience with actuarial issues in company, industry, and regulatory contexts
