Actuarial Consultant
Job Summary
Supporting a Consulting Actuary in a full-time remote or hybrid capacity, the Actuarial Consultant will complete actuarial and consulting projects for insurance companies and self-insureds, focusing on tasks such as preparing rate level indications, conducting competitive research, and performing reserve analyses.
Key responsibilities
- Updating reserve studies for new or additional years of data
- Performing technical reviews of formulas and data entry
- Completing actuarial transmittal forms for rate and rule filings across all US jurisdictions
Required qualifications
- BS/BA degree from an accredited university
- At least 1 Actuarial Exam completed
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Property/Casualty industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, and SQL
- Strong oral and written communication skills
