To support the growth of the actuarial team, the full-time remote Actuarial Manager will manage data analysis, develop pricing models, and provide insights to enhance financial performance in the insurance sector.
Key responsibilities
- Employ advanced methods to manipulate and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools
- Develop analytical solutions and predictive models to address business needs and optimize performance
- Coach and mentor team members in the application of innovative actuarial models and methods
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6-8 years of experience in actuarial ratemaking, reserving, or related quantitative fields
- 2+ years of leadership experience in an actuarial or analytical role
- Strong proficiency in R, Python, and data visualization tools
- Mastery of actuarial principles and statistical modeling techniques
