Job Summary
Leading a talented team in a remote environment, the full-time Actuarial Manager will develop and implement advanced pricing models for car insurance, manage rate levels, and ensure actuarial discipline across various functions while leveraging data science and competitive analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Own state rating plans and rate indications for the car insurance product
- Lead the development and integration of predictive modeling projects in collaboration with the Data Science team
- Manage and develop a team of high-performing Actuaries at various levels
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of P&C actuarial experience; FCAS preferred
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing a team
- B.S. in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proficiency in data science programming languages such as Python and SQL
- Experience with predictive modeling concepts, including machine learning approaches
