Actuarial Manager, Medicare

Job Summary

To support a growing actuarial team, the full-time Actuarial Manager, Medicare will own the monthly results process for ACO REACH/LEAD and MSSP populations, manage payer settlement reconciliations, and lead high-priority analyses, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly results process, including data coordination and claims reserving for value-based programs
• Review and reconcile payer settlement calculations against contract terms, identifying discrepancies to support annual savings targets
• Lead special projects and coach analysts, enhancing team capacity and quality of work through mentorship and technical direction

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of actuarial experience, with 8+ years preferred
• ASA or FSA designation and a Bachelor's degree
• Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage and Value-Based Care concepts
• Experience with reserving and forecasting, and ability to lead work in these areas
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL, with experience applying AI tools to actuarial work preferred
