Job Summary
Leading a team remotely, the full-time salaried Actuarial Services Associate Director will design complex actuarial models, participate in the Part D bid submission process, and develop pricing methodologies to support healthcare initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide design and oversight of complex actuarial models related to pricing and risk assumptions of Part D
- Lead actuarial analysis to support pricing assumptions and determine the impact on premiums and product proposals
- Analyze forecasts and trends while participating in the Part D bid submission process
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
- 4 or more actuarial exams passed
- 5+ years of actuarial/health care economics or similar experience
- 2+ years of experience mentoring Actuarial students/junior staff members
- Extensive knowledge of design and pricing concepts and methodologies in health care
