Actuary
Job Summary
As a key member of the Americas Team, the full-time remote Actuary will focus on pricing support, segmentation models, and portfolio management, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize insurance product value.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize actuarial pricing methodology to produce recommendations for pricing, risk management, and product development
- Support insurance partnerships with reviews of rate development, loss ratio monitoring, and product development stages
- Collaborate with Data, Platform, and Data Science Teams to design unique insurance products and build dashboards for monitoring loss ratios
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science
- Associate or Fellow Qualified actuary
- 5+ years of actuarial experience in the property & casualty/non-life insurance industry
- Strong SQL and Excel skills; programming skills in R and/or Python are desirable
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
