Job Summary
Supporting the Actuarial Valuation Team, the full-time remote Actuary - ASA Licensed will conduct analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes, focusing on claims incurred but not paid and collaborating across departments to enhance operational efficiencies.
Key responsibilities
- Estimate liabilities for claims incurred but not paid
- Communicate financial results to health plans and internal stakeholders
- Support the NAIC actuarial opinion process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of actuarial experience with ASA designation or 4+ years with FSA designation required
- Strong Excel skills, including VBA, arrays, PivotTables, and queries
- Preferred knowledge of SQL, Python, and Power BI
- Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) preferred
