Actuary E&S Reserving

Job Summary

To influence business strategy and lead complex analysis, an experienced Actuary E&S Reserving will work full-time in a remote capacity, applying advanced actuarial methodologies and data analysis to support business decisions and enhance Nationwide's customer protection efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acts as a strategic technical expert, conducting complex analyses and developing recommendations based on actuarial methodologies
• Prepares and presents findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clear communication of complex analyses
• Builds strategic relationships across the organization and develops cross-functional work plans to ensure successful project delivery

Required Qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related quantitative discipline
• An actuarial designation, generally FCAS or equivalent
• A minimum of seven years of actuarial experience
• Demonstrated expertise with analytical software, programming languages, and actuarial tools
• Experience in preparing and presenting actuarial findings to senior leaders and diverse audiences
