Actuary III
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Actuary III to join their Actuarial Asset Modeling Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on actuarial asset models and oversee asset modeling processes
- Improve efficiency and governance of asset models, including automation and validation tools
- Supervise junior actuarial staff and assist with team strategy and development
Required Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong quantitative background
- 5+ years of insurance-related actuarial experience, typically 7+ years
- Completed actuarial exams (FSA) or career ASAs with 15+ years of experience
- Understanding of various asset classes and their role in an insurer's ALM strategy
- Experience with actuarial modeling software; familiarity with MG-ALFA is a plus
