Job Summary
To support the Vendor Analytics Team, the full-time Actuary - Value-Based Care (ASA Required) will conduct analysis, pricing, and risk assessment for value-based care contracts, ensuring they are actuarially sound and financially beneficial, while working remotely within the continental U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of financial models to evaluate risks and opportunities in value-based care arrangements
- Analyze claims and vendor performance data to establish baselines and identify trends
- Provide analytical support during negotiations with external vendors regarding financial terms and risk structures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of actuarial experience with ASA certification or 4+ years with FSA certification
- Preferred membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
- Experience with healthcare claims, revenue data, and trend analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Teradata, and Snowflake
