Acute Care Operations Assistant

Job Summary

To support a multidisciplinary Acute Care team, the part-time hourly Acute Care Operations Assistant will manage scheduling, dispatching Pediatric Home Care Specialists, and facilitating communication between healthcare clinicians in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a scheduler for the Acute Care Team and dispatch in-house Pediatric Home Care Specialists
• Monitor Home Care Specialist locations for safety and facilitate communication through the Teams platform
• Assist with inbound communication and connect patients to the appropriate care team while performing administrative tasks

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare organization required; dispatch experience is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of telephonic communication experience with patients and/or families required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in multiple clinical and/or dispatch systems required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
