Acute Claim Biller

Job Summary

To support the billing operations of healthcare facilities, the full-time Acute Claim Biller will manage claims processing for Critical Access Hospitals and Rural Health Clinics using eClinicalWorks, ensuring accurate patient billing, third-party payer relations, and compliance with established procedures in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate business office functions including patient billing, credit and collections, and data entry
• Implement processes for accurate billing and follow-up on third-party approvals and overdue accounts
• Assist in managing employees through coaching, training, and ensuring compliance with company policies

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-cycle billing experience, including Acute Hospital and Physician claims
• Experience with claims and denial work queues
• Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks E.M.R
• Familiarity with Commercial, Workers Comp, and VA claims
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
