ADA Accommodation Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time ADA Accommodation Specialist will guide employees through accommodation requests related to disabilities, assess needs, develop recommendations, and consult with employers on ADA claims processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on ADAAA law and guidelines to employees and employers
- Manage ADA claims with a strong understanding of case management processes for varying complexities
- Foster trust with employees and offer accommodation options to support their return to work or stay at work
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in human resources or benefits management
- 2+ years of experience in disability accommodation, absence management, or claim administration
- Preferred certifications include PHR, CPDM, or ADA certification
- Proven track record of providing support and guidance related to accommodations
