Job Summary
To support the Department of Community Health & Prevention, the part-time Adjunct Community Health Instructor will teach various courses related to health communication, global health, and public health ethics, maintaining course records and evaluating student work in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach a required number of credit hours per quarter and provide instructional experiences aligned with program objectives
- Evaluate student achievement and maintain communication with the department chair regarding course-related issues
- Supervise a teaching assistant if assigned and perform other related duties as needed
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in public health, social sciences, medicine, bioethics, history of science, or a related field
- Teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate level is essential
