Adjunct English Instructor
Job Summary
To provide quality instruction in assigned courses, the part-time Adjunct English Instructor will manage classroom activities, ensure academic program requirements are met, and respond to student inquiries, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver quality instruction in accordance with the approved academic curriculum
- Complete all required documentation and evaluations for students by established deadlines
- Participate in professional development activities and assist with curriculum development as needed
Required qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's degree in the discipline, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline
- Prior teaching experience and/or practical/clinical experience in the discipline preferred
- Documentation of applicable licenses/certifications is required
