Adjunct Faculty - Genomics
Job Summary
To support the Master of Biomedical Science program, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Genomics will provide expert instruction in Genomics, mentor students, and facilitate an engaging online learning environment while maintaining regular communication and office hours.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert knowledge in Genomics and guide students through their educational experience
- Engage in the online course portal a minimum of 5 times per week and host virtual office hours weekly
- Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and post weekly announcements to enhance course content
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field; Ph.D. preferred
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience in Genomics
- Experience teaching online with demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and assessment
- Strong desire to motivate and encourage students in academic and professional settings
- Familiarity with the Brightspace/D2L Learning Management System
