Adjunct Faculty in Engineering Technology

Job Summary

To support a growing educational community, the part-time Adjunct Faculty in Engineering Technology will teach courses in Applied Engineering or Construction Management, engaging students in a remote setting while maintaining virtual office hours and managing course-related communications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in synchronous or asynchronous seminars and foster a supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate student records and submit timely grades in accordance with the academic calendar
• Participate in faculty governance and professional development activities as needed

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Applied Engineering or Construction Management
• Two to four years of related experience, with online teaching experience preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and Google applications
• Familiarity with Brightspace learning management system (LMS) is preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive information and work independently with minimal supervision
