Job Summary
To support a growing educational community, the part-time Adjunct Faculty in Engineering Technology will teach courses in Applied Engineering or Construction Management, engaging students in a remote setting while maintaining virtual office hours and managing course-related communications.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction in synchronous or asynchronous seminars and foster a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate student records and submit timely grades in accordance with the academic calendar
- Participate in faculty governance and professional development activities as needed
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Applied Engineering or Construction Management
- Two to four years of related experience, with online teaching experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and Google applications
- Familiarity with Brightspace learning management system (LMS) is preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information and work independently with minimal supervision
