Job Summary
To foster effective communication in digital and online environments, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - New Media Journalism will create a student-centered learning atmosphere, utilize diverse teaching strategies, and conduct lectures and virtual meetings for graduate-level courses, all while working remotely from Florida.
Key responsibilities:
- Create an engaging learning environment through effective teaching and current industry knowledge
- Utilize various teaching strategies to promote active learning and maintain student engagement
- Conduct lectures and virtual meetings for both on-campus and online courses
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of verifiable work experience in journalism, publishing, multimedia distribution, or digital communications
- Possession of a terminal degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Journalism, Publishing, Communications, or a related field
- Proficiency in software programs such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of journalism, digital publishing, and multimedia distribution
- Preferred teaching experience with a passion for education
