Adjunct Faculty - Public Relations

Job Summary

To support student learning in the field of public relations, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Public Relations will create engaging online course content, conduct virtual lectures, and assess student performance while working remotely from Florida.

Key responsibilities:

• Create an environment of learning through effective teaching and maintain a student-centered focus
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies to encourage active learning and interaction with students
• Conduct virtual course meetings and lectures, ensuring adherence to university policies and standards

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; terminal degree preferred
• Minimum of four years of related and verifiable work experience in journalism, publishing, or communications
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in relevant subjects from an accredited institution
• Experience in online teaching and public speaking
• Strong social media skills and proficiency in software programs such as MS Word and PowerPoint
