Adjunct Faculty - Recording Arts

Job Summary

To support the Recording Arts Bachelor of Science degree program, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Recording Arts will create a student-centered learning environment, utilize diverse teaching strategies, and assess student outcomes through various assignments and feedback, while working remotely from Florida for no more than 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Create an effective learning environment and maintain a student-centered focus while updating curriculum to align with industry standards
• Utilize various teaching strategies to encourage active learning and create assessments to evaluate student outcomes
• Conduct lectures and virtual meetings for both on-campus and online courses, interacting positively with diverse student populations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recording Arts, Audio Production, Audio Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
• Minimum of four years of related and verifiable work experience in the audio industry
• Proficiency in studio recording, mixing, and audio production
• Familiarity with music technology software, including Logic Pro and Pro Tools, is strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and staff
