Job Summary
To support the Doctor of Education (EdD) in Early Childhood Education program, the part-time Adjunct Professor, Doctoral Research Instruction will teach online doctoral-level courses in research methods and applied statistics, provide dissertation advising, and engage adult learners in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Instruct doctoral-level courses in research theory/methods and applied statistical analysis during the 7-week fall semester
- Facilitate engaging learning experiences that promote critical inquiry and scholarly writing
- Provide timely feedback on student work and support students in developing research proposals and doctoral projects
Required qualifications
- Earned doctorate (EdD, PhD, or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field
- Completion of a doctoral dissertation or applied research project of equivalence
- Experience teaching graduate or doctoral-level courses in higher education
