Adobe Commerce Technical Architect
Job Summary
Championing AI-assisted software development, the full-time salaried Adobe Commerce Sr. Technical Architect will serve as the technical authority on out-of-process extensions and performance engineering, optimizing Edge delivery performance and building AI microservices within a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect out-of-process microservices and API Mesh setups, including custom AI agents and automated data pipelines
- Establish best practices for team-wide AI code generation, automated test creation, and security vulnerability scanning
- Optimize Core Web Vitals and Edge caching using AI diagnostic tools for predictive bottleneck analysis
Required qualifications
- 8-12+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years as a Lead/Technical Architect on Adobe Commerce (Magento 2)
- Advanced competence using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and experience with AI/LLM endpoints
- Technical mastery in PHP, Node.js, GraphQL, Adobe App Builder, and React
- Experience with automated test-driven development (TDD/BDD) practices
- Preferred certification: Adobe Certified Master - Adobe Commerce Architect
