Job Summary
To support the development of next-generation cryptographic and Cross Domain Solutions technologies, the Advanced Software Engineer - AZ Licensed will design, develop, and maintain Linux-based applications for embedded systems in a contract-to-direct role that offers both onsite and remote/hybrid work options.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Linux-based applications for embedded cryptographic systems
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and cybersecurity teams to integrate software solutions into advanced platforms
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience developing software applications for Linux-based platforms
- 3+ years of experience developing embedded Linux applications
- 3+ years of experience with software architecture, design, development, debugging, and integration activities
- Active Secret Clearance
