Advanced Space Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support a government contract remotely, the Advanced Space Systems Engineer will develop and implement digital signal processing algorithms for space-based systems, focusing on statistical analysis and applying advanced engineering techniques.
Key responsibilities
- Support systems involving digital signal processing algorithms in hardware and software for space applications
- Develop algorithms for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements
- Apply techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory and Communications and Information Theory
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience in Python and with SmallSats and CubeSats development
- Knowledge of hardware prototype development and systems integration
- Experience with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and related tools
